Shri. Sushil Kumar Shinde, Hon'ble Union Minister of Power, Government of India inaugurated India Nuclear Energy Summit on 8th October 2010. Dr Srikumar Banerjee—Chairman, Atomic Energy Commission delivered the keynote address and Dr R K Sinha, Director- Bhabha Atomic Research Center (BARC), Guest of Honour had shared his views and knowledge and enlighten the India Nuclear Energy Summit 2010 on 8th October 2010 at The Westin Mumbai Garden City, Mumbai.
India Nuclear Energy 2010 was co-partnered and endorsed by the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. It provided an opportunity for domestic & international companies to avail of the huge untapped potential that the nuclear industry has in India.
India Nuclear Energy Summit 2010, 2nd edition was organised on the 8th October 2010 at Hotel Westin, Goregaon, Mumbai. The Summit was attended by 285 delegates from India and abroad.
The event saw participation from the leading companies like DAE, Alstom, Areva, Hindustan Construction Co., Power Grid Corporation of India, BHEL, NHPC, REC, Gammon India, Electronics Corporation of India, Schneider Electric, Wartsila, Ingersoll Rand, GMR Group, Nuvia India, Khaitan & Co., Sandvik Asia, Nuvia, Rolls Royce, Premium Energy Transmission, Ratnamani to name a few.
The event had excellent participation from overseas with country pavilions from France, Russia, USA, Finland, and individual companies from other countries. 3500 Industry professionals from the Energy space had visited the event over three days.
GE Hitachi and Westinghouse from USA Pavilion had sponsored Networking Reception for all the Exhibitors and invitees.
French Pavilion and French Consulate had organized a lunch cum Hi-Tea during the Exhibition and invited top officials of Nuclear Energy industry.
